The customer, a leading technology organisation, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated process management. Using an old Nimbus platform with UPN formats, the company needed a more collaborative tool to support its digital transformation and the implementation of the SAFe Framework. They engaged BPM-D to help migrate their extensive process library to a new platform and build a foundation for continuous improvement.

BPM-D implemented a solution to migrate 2000 process models and 500 storyboards to Signavio. They developed a strategy that included creating a robot to automate the conversion from UPN to BPMN, which allowed them to migrate up to 50 models per day. The results were significant, with 1609 processes and 252 storyboards successfully migrated and signed off. The effort streamlined the repository, eliminating a third of the roles and reducing IT systems, which led to an increase in the use of the new Signavio Collaboration Hub.
