A BPM-D Case Study
The UK Oil & Gas Authority faced a challenge with outdated, manual processes for managing applications and data, leading to duplication, inefficient tracking, and poor integration. BPM-D was engaged to provide a process-led approach to system design, helping the organization modernize its operations and leverage automation to overcome these inefficiencies.
BPM-D's solution involved a detailed analysis of the as-is processes, the collaborative design of future-state to-be models, and the creation of a comprehensive system design report and RFQ pack. This approach resulted in a clear blueprint for a new system, enabling faster and more accurate vendor selection, reduced project risk, and significantly improved efficiency. The engagement produced 32 process models and 169 prioritized user stories, bridging the communication gap between business and IT and ensuring the organization maintained ownership of its processes.
