Vulcan Materials Company, the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates, faced growing pains after consolidating divisions and moving to a shared services model: legacy system gaps, manual approval processes, and limited process visibility. BP Logix implemented Process Director across dozens of processes—starting with User Security Administration, then vendor maintenance, capital projects approvals, customer data maintenance, real‑estate transactions and purchasing card requests—adding mobile access and Process Timeline visibility. The solution reduced one‑off application development, improved monitoring and auditability, enabled IT to handle more requests faster, and delivered an estimated net cost savings of about $500,000 over five years from the first five process automations.
