UCF Global, the University of Central Florida’s primary international hub that manages English language, study abroad, and support services for international students, faced complex challenges around immigration compliance, visas, employment authorization and fragmented processes that risked harming recruitment and student experience. To address this, UCF Global engaged BP Logix and used BP Logix’s low-code Process Director platform to design a streamlined digital approach.

BP Logix built a centralized student portal that integrates with the university’s SIS, LMS, SharePoint and Zoom, is accessible on desktop and mobile, and was built and deployed in just 45 days. The BP Logix solution cut UCF Global’s immigration verification time from 2 hours to 15 minutes, enabled completion on a phone, and turned processes that once took hours into minutes, significantly improving the international student experience.
