Festival Foods Automates Key Processes As Part Of The Company’s Growth Initiative

Festival Foods, an employee- and family-owned grocery chain, faced manual, error-prone back-office processes—especially invoice receiving and inventory reconciliation—that threatened scalability as the company expanded. After an ineffective OCR attempt, Festival Foods selected BP Logix and its Process Director product to automate and standardize workflows so the receiving process would not require adding 2–3 new receiver positions per store.

BP Logix implemented Process Director to automate purchase order reconciliation, import product and transactional data, and standardize processes across stores. The solution improved efficiency, accuracy and scalability, reduced rework, freed IT to focus on higher‑value projects, and enabled Festival Foods to grow from 19 to 25 stores in under 18 months while avoiding the expected new headcount.
