Automates Workflows and Forms and Improves Review and Approval of Key Documents with Process Director

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) launched an Earth Day paper‑reduction initiative to eliminate thousands of paper forms used across 70+ departments, but their existing workflow product lacked reporting, reliable email delivery and was difficult to modify. After a task force ranked needed features, UTEP selected BP Logix and its Process Director to deliver electronic forms, workflow automation and electronic signature capability.

BP Logix implemented Process Director quickly—after a week of training in March UTEP had the first workflow (Conflict of Interest) in production by April—and began interfacing with SQL/Oracle and planning Banner/PeopleSoft integration. Process Director resolved undeliverable‑email and reporting issues, supports TIFF archival for state records retention, and is rolling out multiple forms campuswide, delivering rapid time‑to‑production and measurable progress toward reduced paper and more efficient review and approval.
