Abbott, a global health care company with more than 72,000 employees, needed to speed new‑hire and Purchase Order approvals, gain real‑time visibility into document status, convert paper forms to electronic, automate routing/archiving, and track outstanding POs. Abbott’s MIS team ran a proof of concept with BP Logix, evaluating BP Logix Workflow Director (including its eForm component) as the solution.

BP Logix’s Workflow Director converted Word forms into browser‑based eForms, auto‑initiated review and approval cycles, provided tracking/auditing and electronic signatures with little to no training, and integrated with Active Directory, JD Edwards, Siebel and IBM Websphere. Abbott targeted converting 5–10 high‑usage forms in year one, saw improved ROI and internal communication, and expanded Workflow Director adoption across HR, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing and other departments.
