Global eBox - Customer Case Study

Global eBox is a Chile-based P.O. Box and freight forwarding service (partnered with U.S. forwarder Interseas) that helps customers buy U.S. goods and ship them to Chile. They needed to coordinate P.O. Box and freight-forwarding operations across two companies and automate manual processes—especially waybill creation and integrating a front-end portal and Shopper Assist service—without changing their existing business workflows. BoxOn Logistics (BoxOn) was chosen because it offered both P.O. Box and freight-forwarding modules.

BoxOn Logistics implemented its combined P.O. Box and freight-forwarding system, a custom API linking Global eBox’s customer portal to BoxOn, automation of the Shopper Assist workflow and invoicing, and a Scanning Module that converts warehouse receipts into in-house and master waybills with a single click. The solution merged operations for Global eBox and Interseas, automated pre-alerts, item data and invoicing, allowed portal-driven updates without a developer, and delivered a dramatic time savings in waybill processing.
