A BoxCast Case Study
The Cleveland International Film Festival, Ohio’s largest film festival, wanted to broaden the audience for its week‑long event and began live streaming its Closing Night Reception three years ago using BoxCast. Initially they embedded the stream only on their website and drew 1,203 live views, so the challenge was how to reach viewers beyond their site and grow overall viewership.
Using BoxCast’s simulcasting capabilities, CIFF expanded from a website embed to Facebook Live in year two and added Twitter/Periscope and YouTube Live in year three. By simulcasting with BoxCast across multiple destinations, CIFF increased Closing Night viewership nearly ten‑fold — growing from about 1,203 views to roughly 9,000 total across platforms.
