Case Study: Andrew College achieves stronger alumni engagement and new revenue from sports streaming with BoxCast

Andrew College, a small historic college in Cuthbert, GA, needed a simple, reliable way to engage alumni, parents and the wider community by streaming school-wide events and eight different sports (close to 100 events per year). To solve that challenge they turned to BoxCast, using a single camera into the BoxCaster to deliver live broadcasts to their website, Facebook Live and YouTube Live while addressing issues like music copyright and limited production resources.

BoxCast’s closed streaming platform, scoreboard integration and overlay tools let Andrew College run lean productions (student work-study crews or a single operator) and monetize broadcasts — overlays produced $1,200 for men’s basketball and $900 from baseball/softball sponsorships — while improving recruiting and fan engagement. BoxCast’s sales and customer success teams also provided hands-on support to get the college up and running and keep nearly 100 annual events streaming smoothly.
