Timeraiser Uses Box and Google Apps to Rally Volunteers

Timeraiser is a Canadian volunteer-engagement program run by the Framework Foundation that connects volunteers, non-profits and emerging artists through events where people bid volunteer time instead of money. Managing a distributed staff, contractors, hundreds of non-profits and artist submissions created a need for a single, accessible way to store, share and collaborate on many types of content.

Timeraiser centralized content and submission workflows on Box and paired it with Google Apps, Salesforce and EchoSign via the OpenBox platform. Box hosts documents, media and creative files, uses widgets for direct uploads, and complements Google Docs for working files, giving the team better permissions, embedding and unlimited storage — improvements that save the organization more than 300 hours per year and let staff focus on their mission.
