Hilco secures work and amplifies adoption Protecting financial content across 30 entities

Hilco Global, a diversified financial services company with operations across 30 entities, needed a more secure and scalable way to store and share sensitive client and company data. As the workforce became more mobile and collaboration demands grew, Hilco wanted to move beyond on-premises file servers and make better use of Box, especially for secure content sharing and cloud-based workflows.

Box worked with Hilco Global through Box Consulting to create a two-year transformation roadmap, introducing tools like Box Drive, the web app, Box Relay, Box Governance, Box Zones, and Box Shield. The result was companywide adoption across 650 seats, stronger workflow support, better content protection, and the ability to decommission on-prem file servers entirely. Hilco also reported improved security outcomes, including passing security audits “with flying colors” and eliminating risky public links.
