The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the U.S. Department of Defense’s lead R&D organization, needed to modernize its digital workplace to enable secure, agency-wide collaboration with external research partners while meeting stringent DoD cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
DARPA selected Box’s FedRAMP- and DoD SRG Impact Level 4–authorized cloud content management platform to provide a trusted collaboration environment, easy secure access and sharing for internal and external teams, mobile access to critical resources, and IT controls for governance. The move creates a more agile, connected and productive environment for DARPA’s global workforce, helping transform how the agency manages research projects while maintaining required security and compliance.
