Grand Junction, Colorado wanted a website experience that stayed current for visitors interested in its outdoor recreation, wine country, and seasonal events. The tourism organization worked with Bound to better understand who was visiting its site, where they were coming from, and what content they cared about so it could move beyond a static homepage.
Using Bound audience insights and personalization tools, Grand Junction tested content and images on the homepage, then expanded to interior pages and targeted overlay campaigns. The approach helped the team deliver more relevant messages by audience and interest, and in 2016 it drove a 61% increase in pages visited, a 63% increase in time on site, and a 23% decrease in bounce rate.
