Saxo, Denmark’s largest online bookstore, wanted a better way to help shoppers find the right gifts online while also handling common customer support questions. To address this challenge, Saxo worked with BotXO and introduced Alfred, a chatbot originally designed as a gift guide and later expanded into a support bot.

With BotXO’s AI chatbot platform, Alfred now helps answer product and support questions in real time, learns from conversations, and routes more complex issues to human agents when needed. The results were strong: Alfred resolves 67% of chat conversations without human involvement and has driven a 400% increase in conversion rates for shoppers supported by the bot.
