How EFU Life Assurance engaged 11,584 Customers with a Chatbot

EFU Life Assurance, the first private-sector life insurance company in Pakistan, needed a way to handle a high volume of customer queries arriving through calls, email, and Facebook. To reduce pressure on its support team and better serve its 2M+ Facebook audience, the company turned to Botsify and deployed a Messenger chatbot.

Botsify built a Facebook Messenger chatbot that gave users access to product information, contact details, policy support, appointment booking, funds and services information, and marketing inquiry routing. The bot launched in February 2019 and quickly engaged over 11,584 users, handled more than 114,000 messages, captured 1,200+ leads, and saved EFU Life over 8 hours of customer support cost per day, with an estimated 16+ days of support cost saved overall.
