Engineon partnered with Botpress to help public health teams manage vaccine safety monitoring during the Covid-19 pandemic. Facing high call volumes, manual record-keeping, and the need to quickly track side effects from large-scale vaccinations, Engineon needed a faster, more scalable way to collect patient feedback while staying compliant with EU privacy requirements.

Using Botpress’s conversational AI platform and open API, Engineon built a voice bot that proactively called patients, verified their identity, and ran a vaccine-reaction survey, with data stored in Engineon’s BI framework. The solution achieved 95% accuracy, supported more than 3,000 users, captured over 900 reactions, saved €80,000 within six months, and reduced about 6,000 hours of work for three people.
