GAME Sees +146% YoY Black Friday Revenue Using Organic Search as a Strategic Advantage

GAME, the UK video game retailer under Frasers Group, needed a better organic revenue strategy ahead of Black Friday 2023. Technical debt, limited engineering resources, and slow SEO processes made it difficult to improve high-converting product pages, with even simple updates taking 6–12 months to implement. Botify helped GAME overcome these blockers with its SEO and activation capabilities.

Using Botify’s PageWorkers solution, GAME quickly launched large-scale internal linking fixes to improve breadcrumb links, reduce click depth, and surface key product pages for search engines. The results were strong: page crawl rates rose by 82%, high-converting product page clicks increased 7.27% YoY, impressions grew 23%, direct traffic to critical product pages climbed 113%, and organic revenue increased 146% YoY.
