Showtime worked with The Bot Platform to create a Messenger bot for *Shameless* to keep its passionate fan base engaged before, during, and after Season 8. The challenge was to extend the show’s irreverent tone and maintain excitement around the series while driving viewers toward Showtime’s streaming service.

Using The Bot Platform, Showtime launched a phased Messenger experience with quizzes, quick replies, audio, and other interactive features that extended the show’s storylines and promoted subscriptions. The campaign generated 11M interactions, 150K engaged fans, a 97% open rate on alerts, 33% opt-in for alerts, and a 20% click-through rate to buy, with 1 in 5 users clicking through to subscribe.
