Hendrick’s Gin worked with The Bot Platform, using a Facebook Messenger bot experience, to create an engaging World Cucumber Day campaign. Their challenge was to capitalize on the cucumber-themed holiday and get fans involved in a fun way that reinforced the importance of cucumber in a perfect Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic.
The Bot Platform helped deliver the Hendrick’s Cucumber Adoption Service, where fans could adopt and care for a virtual cucumber by naming, watering, tickling, singing to, and playing music for it. The campaign reached thousands of fans, generated a 33% CTR to further brand content, and averaged 17.4 interactions per user, with some cucumbers later redeemable for a Hendrick’s and Tonic at participating bars.
