University College Dublin (UCD) faced the critical challenge of reducing global stillbirth rates by enabling continuous fetal health monitoring outside of clinical settings. They partnered with Boston Technology Corporation (BTC) to build a scalable digital research infrastructure that could harness real-time data from wearable sensor technology.

Boston Technology Corporation implemented a solution leveraging the Google Cloud Platform. They developed a custom mobile app to pair with wearable bands and built secure backend services to capture, store, and analyze the fetal movement data in real time. The result was a cost-effective, reusable platform that enhanced study participation, provided clinicians with real-time monitoring capabilities, and created a scalable model for future maternal health research.
