QIVICON, Deutsche Telekom’s multi-vendor smart home platform, needed to unify a highly fragmented market so devices from many manufacturers could work together for consumers. To achieve this, QIVICON adopted Bosch IoT Suite technologies — including Bosch IoT Remote Manager, Bosch IoT Gateway Software and the Bosch IoT Gateway SDK — to provide secure, protocol‑agnostic device and gateway management.

Using Bosch IoT Suite, Deutsche Telekom implemented a backend and gateway stack that enables remote provisioning, monitoring, firmware updates, and lifecycle management, plus easy plug‑in development for partners. The result is reliable cross‑brand interoperability, a broad white‑label smart‑home portfolio deployed in several European countries, and faster time‑to‑market for partners while maintaining scalable, secure device management.
