The Yield is an AgTech company that helps growers replace guesswork with data-driven decisions; farmers faced the daily burden of field checks and weather monitoring across crops from oysters to apples. To support its Sensing+™ microclimate sensing solution, The Yield partnered with Bosch IoT Suite, using Bosch IoT Gateway Software and the Bosch IoT Remote Manager to collect, secure and manage sensor and gateway data.

Using the Bosch IoT Suite, The Yield built a Farm Area Network of microclimate sensors, solar-powered nodes and on‑farm gateways plus cloud back‑end analytics to deliver seven‑day forecasts, frost alerts and watering recommendations. Bosch IoT Suite device management enabled remote deployment and updates; outcomes include a 30% reduction in unnecessary oyster-harvest closures (estimated AUD $21M saved annually), up to 30% water savings for some customers, and more timely crop protection and irrigation decisions.
