Born Social worked with Sherwin-Williams’ Valspar brand ahead of Mother’s Day to make the paint brand more emotionally resonant and relevant for nursery renovations and other DIY decorating moments. The challenge was to move beyond paint as a product and show how colour connects to personal milestones, home improvement, and inspiration.
Born Social created an influencer marketing campaign featuring 7 influencers who documented redecorating their children’s rooms and sharing the colour-selection process behind each project. The campaign drove 783 site visits, 773 content saves, 271K people reached, and a 35% increase in followers, while also keeping Valspar top of mind for future buying occasions like moving house or having a baby.
