Strawberry Hire, founded in 2018 by Russell Perkin in Bournemouth, UK, grew from a few bouncy castles into a broader party and event rental business. As the company expanded, its WordPress and WooCommerce website worked well for browsing, but it wasn’t built for rental bookings, creating a challenge around managing online orders and inventory.
To solve this, Strawberry Hire integrated Booqable with its existing WooCommerce site to add online booking capabilities and inventory management without rebuilding the website. With Booqable, Russell could accept rental orders online, reduce time spent handling calls and emails, and focus more on growing the business. The company has since expanded its product range further and plans to add more wedding and children’s event equipment.
