Masta Aanhangwagens, a trailer rental company (masta.nl), faced a customer-experience challenge: customers needed a secure way to return trailers after business hours, and their 20‑year‑old Delphi system couldn't support it. To solve this, Masta turned to Booqable and implemented Booqable’s API to fully automate the after‑hours return flow.

Using Booqable’s API, Masta built mastapoort.nl so customers enter an order number and zip code to open an external gate; the API verifies the started order, notifies two monitoring employees, opens the gate automatically, and stops the order after exit to prevent reuse. The Booqable integration let Masta plan and staff far more efficiently, greatly improved customer satisfaction with after‑hours returns (for some customers it’s the primary reason to rent), and helped Masta grow its reputation renting a wide variety of trailers.
