The King Baudouin Foundation, Belgium’s largest public benefit foundation that distributes €133M in grants annually, faced operational strain after rapid growth in grant‑making and systems since 2019. Multiple legacy and siloed systems for grants, donations, ERP and CRM created time‑consuming manual work, reconciliation issues and limited scalability, hindering timely support for beneficiaries.

Working with partner Blents, the foundation implemented the Boomi Enterprise Platform (Integration, DataHub, API Management and Flow) to automate data flows between Unit4 ERP, Salesforce and online donation platforms. The integration eliminated manual processes, improved data accuracy and transparency, enabled real‑time decision‑making and scalability, and saved roughly €500K annually by avoiding five additional hires.
