The AO Foundation, a Switzerland-based nonprofit that trains and researches musculoskeletal surgery for a global community of 460,000 healthcare professionals, needed to replace a highly customized legacy system with best-of-breed cloud apps (SAP, Salesforce, CMS, LMS, etc.). With a small IT team and no internal developers, the organization faced a major integration challenge: connect cloud and legacy systems quickly and flexibly to support new technologies like AI, IoT, and virtual conferencing while improving surgeon education and patient outcomes.

AO selected the Boomi AtomSphere Platform for its low-code development and 200+ prebuilt connectors, and with Boomi services integrated more than 30 applications.
