St Laurence’s College Enhances Student and Teacher Experience With Boomi

St Laurence’s College, a Brisbane boys’ secondary school with about 1,990 students and 250 staff, faced a complex hybrid IT environment with dozens of systems and manual data processes. The lack of an integration capability created inconsistent records, time‑consuming administration, and increased risk of human error across enrollment, HR, finance and school management workflows.

The college implemented Boomi’s iPaaS to connect on‑premises and cloud applications—including HR, finance, school management systems, Microsoft Azure and Active Directory—adding data validation and a centralized source of truth. The integration automated manual work, recovered the equivalent of an IT staff member’s workload, freed staff to focus on higher‑value projects, and set the stage for Flow to streamline onboarding and exit processes.
