Schenck Process Centralizes Its Diversified Application and ERP Landscape With Boomi

Schenck Process, a German leader in measurement and process technology with 2,900+ employees and operations across 20+ locations, faced a highly decentralized IT landscape after organic growth and acquisitions. Sites ran different processes, master data, HR systems and payrolls, and at peak the business used as many as 25 ERP and finance systems. The company wanted to centralize and modernize its systems without heavy reliance on outside consultants or overburdening its roughly 50 IT staff.

Schenck Process ran a proof of concept with the low‑code Boomi AtomSphere platform and rolled out Oracle CRM CX and Workday integrations, then used Boomi to connect multiple ERPs (Infor, SAP R/3, TOTVS) and payroll vendors, add EDI and exchange‑rate services, and prepare for SAP S/4HANA consolidation. The intuitive platform and employee training enabled rapid, cost‑effective integrations (often completed in 2–3 days), resulting in centralized systems, harmonized data and faster internal implementation of future projects.
