Save the Children International Unites Its Mission With Boomi

Save the Children International, a global humanitarian organization, needed to protect donor transparency and reduce risks in its procurement operations. Its purchasing, supplier and warehouse processes were split across three isolated systems and handled manually, creating inefficiencies, errors and challenges meeting government compliance requirements.

Working with Boomi and partner Glue Reply, the charity automated integrations between SAP Ariba, Source-to-Pay and its financial and warehouse systems so supplier data, purchase orders and invoices flow automatically in near real time. The solution improved transparency and compliance, cut manual work and fraud risk, is expected to drive about $7.2M in annual savings, and will be rolled out across operations in more than 50 countries.
