ROCKWOOL Group, the global leader in stone wool building solutions operating in 39 countries, faced a growing integration challenge: a third-party EDI approach that became slow, costly, and inflexible as message volumes and partner connections grew. Implementations and even small changes routinely took two to three months, limiting the company’s ability to support its complex ecosystem of vendors, customers, and internal lines of business.

By adopting the Boomi AtomSphere Platform (including Boomi B2B/EDI), ROCKWOOL connected its SAP ERP and Warehouse Management System directly to partners, accelerating integration timelines and simplifying management. The in-house team of three developers now supports about 180 trading partners, cutting deployment from months to two–three weeks, enabling changes in hours, and delivering greater scalability, efficiency, and improved customer experience with responsive support.
