Peoplecare is a member‑owned, not‑for‑profit Australian health insurer serving 33,000+ members that historically relied on contact‑center interactions. The fund faced a complex, shared HAMBS core system (owned by 20 other funds) that produced 24‑hour data delays, limited its ability to deliver omnichannel, real‑time experiences, and strained a small IT team that needed an intuitive integration approach.

To solve this, Peoplecare adopted Boomi’s cloud‑native iPaaS and engaged Atturra to integrate HAMBS and other legacy and cloud systems using drag‑and‑drop connectors. The result is a single member view available to its mobile app and 140 contact‑center agents, enabling real‑time insight into admissions and claim issues, more personalized concierge services, and stronger governance and CPS 234 compliance.
