Origin Energy, a leading Australian energy provider with more than 4.5 million customer accounts and upstream operations in Australia Pacific LNG, faced siloed, inconsistent data across hundreds of systems—from SAP and Salesforce to geospatial and subsurface applications. The company needed to modernize core applications and streamline discovery, classification, validation and delivery of data used for both intraday operational decisions and long-term investment planning, but was hampered by manual, spreadsheet-driven integration processes.

Using the Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS, Origin built about 1,500 reusable integrations, cutting average integration build time from six weeks to one week (an ~80% reduction) and consolidating management to a single integration lead and a small team of data owners.
