Markas is a family‑run leader in specialized services across Italy, Austria and Germany, with 35+ years of experience and more than 9,000 employees across cleaning, housekeeping, food, facility and patient transport divisions. Rapid staff turnover and complex HR processes—onboarding, training, payroll and staff-list propagation—were compounded by a “spaghetti” integration landscape of ad hoc interfaces and manual data entry, leaving the company without the control or flexibility it needed.

Working with partner Mind‑Mercatis, Markas selected the Boomi AtomSphere platform after a proof of concept to standardize integration and govern processes. The intuitive, drag‑and‑drop platform enabled self‑service integrations and quick staff adoption, and today Markas runs 15 Boomi connectors (HR, management, CRM, production and file exchanges), achieving faster, more controlled integrations, reduced manual work and a foundation for expanding SAP modules and B2B/EDI capabilities.
