Lee Company Streamlines IT’s Involvement in Employee Onboarding with Boomi Accelerator

Lee Company, a $225M building services and construction firm in Franklin, Tenn., expanded rapidly from 800 to 1,200 employees and was hiring up to 60–70 people a month. That growth strained its onboarding process: manual account creation across Workday, Active Directory and other systems took days, was error‑prone, consumed significant IT time, and weakened the new‑hire experience.

To fix this, Lee implemented Dell Boomi—using the Integration Accelerator for Workday and Active Directory plus Boomi Integrate and Master Data Hub—to automate provisioning and synchronize employee data. As a result, IT account setup dropped from days to about five minutes, remote onboarding became feasible, integration development times shortened, data quality and security improved, and Boomi was expanded to address additional integration needs across the company.
