Lavazza Group, the four-generation Italian coffee company now present in 140+ countries, created Lavazza Professional after acquiring Mars Drinks and faced a complex challenge: migrate a highly heterogeneous, heavily customized on-premises integration landscape with limited documentation to a new infrastructure without disrupting operations. The team set an ambitious goal to complete the transfer and ensure business continuity within months, despite many undocumented flows and a critical need to keep systems running during the change.

Lavazza selected the Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS and engaged Accenture to reverse-engineer, standardize, and replace legacy integrations. In five months they integrated 15 systems across six countries and activated 59 flows, accelerating delivery by several months, improving governance and monitoring with low-code connectors, and creating a scalable, future-proof integration foundation for ongoing migrations and innovation.
