International Justice Mission Adds Boomi Integration to Complete Its Workday Transformation

International Justice Mission (IJM), a global human-rights NGO with roughly 1,000 employees across 27 offices, set out to modernize its IT foundation by moving key systems to the cloud—deploying Workday HCM and Financial Management and Salesforce Sales Cloud—to support rapid growth. The organization faced a technology challenge: its small integration team lacked the coding resources to build and maintain custom Workday Studio integrations, and financial data transfers between QuickBooks and Workday were manual, slow, and costly.

IJM adopted the Boomi cloud-native integration platform to centralize and automate data flows between Workday, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce and other systems. Boomi extracts, transforms and loads financial data into Workday without manual intervention, eliminated custom-integration costs at several field offices, sped up processing that previously took three to four days, and created a scalable integration foundation for consolidation, onboarding and future planning use cases.
