Foscarini Maintains Business Continuity With Future-proof Integration

Foscarini, the Venice-based lighting design and manufacturing company founded on Murano in 1981, needed to modernize its integration strategy to support digital transformation while guaranteeing business continuity. Its IT landscape included legacy IBM AS/400 systems, Magento ecommerce, Salesforce CRM, multiple third-party portals and trading partners, and a planned data warehouse — and the existing orchestration solution was costly, hard to maintain, and unable to meet future needs without risking downtime.

Working with beanTech, Foscarini selected the Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS and adopted a modular, step-by-step rollout using Boomi Integration, Flow, API Management, B2B/EDI and an on‑premises Atom runtime. The initial deployment delivered seven connectors, API management and EDI links to 10 partners, enabled fast upskilling of IT, reduced maintenance effort and established a scalable, reliable integration foundation that supports current operations and future expansion (including planned PLM integration).
