Flinders University Builds a Connected Digital Campus With Boomi

Flinders University, serving 27,000 students and 5,000+ staff, set a cloud-first vision as part of its 10-year "Making a Difference: The 2025 Agenda" to deliver personalized digital experiences. The university faced a major integration challenge—immature, ad hoc, point-to-point and manual integration capabilities—that threatened to delay migration of cloud and legacy systems and hinder the student lifecycle experience.

By adopting Boomi’s low-code, cloud-native integration platform, a newly formed six-person team migrated the student management and financial systems to the cloud within a year and reworked about 130 integrations across LMS, HR, CRM and admissions. The move cut integration development time by at least 2x, enabled faster deployments, reduced administrative overhead, established a foundation for an integration center of excellence, and supported mobile, on-demand student services.
