Financial Services Company Deploys Boomi To Automate Complex Fiscal Processes

Catholic Development Fund (CDF), which provides finance and payments services to Catholic institutions, partnered with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) to tackle a sprawling manual corporate card reconciliation problem across 293 schools. With no integration framework in place, schools relied on legacy, manual processes that could take up to 90 days to reconcile simple purchase transactions, creating administrative burden and governance risk.

CDF and MACS engaged Atturra to deploy Boomi’s iPaaS to connect banking systems, multiple ERP platforms, FlexiPurchase, AWS Secure File Transfer Service and SharePoint, automating data delivery and rule-based reconciliation via APIs. Within three months the initiative raised same-month reconciliation to about 80% of transactions, saved hundreds of hours in manual bookkeeping, improved governance, and created a scalable framework for easier onboarding and broader rollout.
