Emmelibri Integrates With Boomi to Streamline Complex Supply Chain Logistics

Emmelibri, the centralized logistics and distribution arm for major Italian publisher Messaggerie Italiane, runs one of Europe’s most modern automated book supply‑chain hubs. Faced with a complex, multivendor ecosystem of ERPs (SAP), warehouses, retailers and ecommerce systems, the company needed a more flexible, resilient integration layer to ensure accurate, timely data exchange across internal and external partners.

Emmelibri implemented Boomi’s low‑code cloud/on‑prem integration platform, deploying roughly 50 system and EDI connectors and migrating more than 180 processes into production in just over three months (phased Oct–Nov 2020). The result is automated, scalable integration with minimal management overhead, continuous cloud updates, greater in‑house control of integrations, and improved data readiness for business decision‑making.
