Candy.com is a third-party logistics provider that handles a huge share of U.S. chocolate distribution and relies on electronic data interchange (EDI) to keep retailer partnerships running smoothly. Candy.com implemented Boomi B2B Management, a low-code, cloud-based integration platform that was quick to deploy and connects directly with its NetSuite ERP. Boomi automated data mapping and validation (for example, converting state names to abbreviations), automatically retries failed communications, and moves orders into the ERP in seconds (as fast as four seconds). The change saved roughly 200–250 hours per week, cut trading-partner onboarding from six months to five days, improved accuracy, and enabled error-free, next-day shipping at scale.
