Boomi Helps Flinders University Build a Digital Campus

Flinders University, a leading Australian university serving over 27,000 students and 5,000 staff, launched a cloud-first strategy to modernize IT and deliver seamless digital experiences. Progress was hampered by immature, ad hoc point-to-point integrations that threatened to limit its cloud migration and campus-wide digital initiatives, especially the large-scale move of its core student management and financial systems.

Flinders chose Dell Boomi’s low-code, cloud-native integration platform to unify integrations, data quality, workflow automation and API management. Using Boomi the team rebuilt about 130 integrations to migrate key systems to the cloud in one year—work that would have taken at least twice as long otherwise—eliminating manual processes, speeding new service rollouts and enabling omnichannel, mobile-friendly, personalized experiences for students and staff.
