Blue Force Tracking Combines Innovative Technologies to Revolutionize Steward and Police Officer Safety

Blue Force Tracking is a safety solution developed by Nalta in partnership with Boomi to help the City of Amsterdam, the Dutch National Police Corps and Johan Cruijff Arena protect stewards and officers at large events. The challenge was to provide real‑time visibility into officers’ biometrics and locations, rapidly filter massive sensor data into actionable alerts, and preserve sensitive biometric privacy so support teams could detect threats and deploy help before situations escalated.

Nalta used Boomi’s AtomSphere to integrate Equivital wearable sensors, location data and stadium camera feeds so the platform flags the best camera view and streams live video when an officer shows signs of distress. The system was designed in seven months and deployed in six weeks; it delivers secure, rapid integration, keeps biometric data on the devices to protect privacy, and is scalable to support up to a million users.
