Mozy, a cloud backup and access provider with more than six million customers, needed a faster, more scalable way to keep customer records synchronized between its PostgreSQL backend and Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Existing integration processes were slowing delivery and required more server infrastructure and custom coding, limiting the company’s agility as signups and backup activity generated frequent updates.

Mozy implemented Dell Boomi AtomSphere to integrate PostgreSQL with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, achieving the required throughput of more than 100,000 updates per hour and supporting several gigabytes of weekly data. The graphical interface and Boomi Suggest sped development, reduced custom code and infrastructure needs, and shortened delivery times—resulting in faster onboarding, up-to-date customer views for agents, and improved scalability and support performance.
