Boom Crate Studios was hired by IS4S to create a video tribute for a legendary employee, Frank Battle. The challenge was to visually capture the essence and legacy of Mr. Battle without the benefit of any live-action footage or a personal interview with him, requiring a completely original approach to storytelling.

The solution from Boom Crate Studios involved a multi-faceted process of illustration and animation. The team developed a unique, painterly visual style to represent Mr. Battle and combined these animated scenes with live-action interviews of his colleagues. They also designed a logo for the Battle Award. The result was a vibrant and heartfelt animated feature that successfully honored the employee's influence, earning high praise from the IS4S Marketing Director for immortalizing his legacy.
