Dayton Children’s raises $1,100,000 with Boom Crate Studios

Dayton Children’s, a children's hospital, needed to create a compelling film for its 2022 Cha Cha fundraiser to raise money for three key initiatives: care transformation, mental health, and health equity. The challenge was to develop a film that would shift donors' perspectives and motivate them to support the complex issues facing children in the community. Boom Crate Studios was enlisted for this task.

Boom Crate Studios addressed this by producing a film that told three distinct stories, showcasing the real-life challenges families face. The video was filmed in multiple locations, including the hospital, to authentically represent the community. The film premiered at a large event, successfully helping Dayton Children’s raise over $1,100,000. The work by Boom Crate Studios also received recognition with an AAF Dayton Gold Addy and a Mosaic Award.
