Constructor University modernizes student housing with Booking Ninjas and no new student database

Constructor University needed to replace its legacy student-housing system, Mercury, without creating another disconnected data silo. The challenge was to integrate complex housing workflows—including reservations, payments, eligibility rules, and reporting—with the university's existing student information. Booking Ninjas was selected to implement a Salesforce-native student housing solution to address this.

Booking Ninjas built the new housing platform directly within Constructor University's existing Salesforce environment. This allowed housing data to remain connected to student records, provided students with a self-service portal, automated housing rules, integrated payments, and enabled flexible reporting. The solution modernized the housing operation without creating a separate database, reduced manual processes, and gave staff and students more control. While no specific numerical results were provided, the project successfully connected the entire student housing journey to the trusted Salesforce foundation.
