Spa Boosts Efficiency and Grows Revenue with Booker’s Integrated Platform

Galleria Day Spa, a long-running beauty destination in Bryan, Texas near Texas A&M, relied on an outdated management system that couldn’t sell gift certificates online. Because students, parents and out-of-town visitors drive heavy demand, printing and selling certificates in person or by phone was time-consuming—especially during holidays—and limited revenue opportunities.

After switching to Booker’s integrated eCommerce and credit-card processing, Galleria began promoting certificates on its website and Facebook and directing callers and walk-ins to buy online, freeing front-desk staff. The spa sold about $116,000 in gift certificates between February and August 2014 (including $36,000 for Mother’s Day, a 50% increase over May 2013), improved checkout and reporting, and saw a major boost in operational efficiency.
